Corrections and removals

Last updated 10 September 2026

The register is only useful if what is in it can be challenged. There are three different things people usually want, and they take different routes.

You signed a listing and it is no longer true

Withdraw it yourself on the withdrawal page with the removal code you were given when you filed. It comes down immediately, without waiting on us. If you lost the code, write to us from the email address you used when filing.

Something in your listing is wrong

Write to us with the listing address and what needs changing. We can edit the business details. We cannot edit a signature: if the signer or their title changed, withdraw the listing and file a new one, so the published signature always matches the person who actually made it.

You believe a listing is false

Tell us which listing and what specifically you believe is untrue. We read every report. We may contact the business, and we may remove the listing while we look into it.

Two things we cannot do, and will not pretend to: we do not investigate any individual person’s immigration or work-authorization status, and we do not act as a channel for reporting people. Reports about a named worker will be discarded. If you believe a business has broken the law, the agency that enforces it is the place for that, not this site.

Legal notices

Copyright complaints about an uploaded logo, defamation claims, and formal legal notices should be sent in writing to the address below and should identify the exact listing.

Where to write

A contact address has not been configured on this deployment yet. Set CONTACT_EMAIL in the environment to publish one here.

Include the listing address (the full link) in anything you send. It is the fastest way for us to find the right record.
